Privacy policy

Leonida Scout is a free GTA 6 guide. You don't need an account to use it, and we never ask for your name, email or payment details. This page explains what data is collected when you visit, and how to control it.

Information collected automatically

Server logs. Like almost every website, our server records basic technical details for each request: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser type and the referring page. We use these logs to keep the site running, measure traffic and protect against abuse. They're kept for a limited time and aren't used to identify you.

Your theme choice. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. This helps us decide what to write next. We don't use it to identify individual visitors.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Leonida Scout is free because it shows ads. We use Google AdSense to display them.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
• If you opt out, you'll still see ads, but they won't be based on your browsing.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads or analytics cookies are used, through Google's consent message.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. On this site they're set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.

Links to other websites

Our articles link to other sites, such as news outlets we cite as sources and Wikimedia Commons for photo credits. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for how they handle data.

Children

Grand Theft Auto VI is rated for mature audiences. This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to its use. Because we don't collect names, emails or accounts, most of the data involved is held by Google. You can manage it through your Google account and the opt-outs above.
