The people who answer to shareholders get one more chance to talk about Grand Theft Auto VI before it goes on sale. **Take-Two Interactive** reports its quarterly results on **Monday, November 9, 2026**, and it's the last scheduled investor update before GTA 6 launches on **November 19**.

The call starts at **4:30pm ET (1:30pm PT)**, after the stock market closes. Take-Two will talk about money: its guidance for the year, how the business is tracking and, almost certainly, GTA 6. What it's unlikely to do is premiere a trailer or hand out pre-order figures, whatever you may read on social media.

That matters because this call lands just 10 days before launch. Anything Take-Two says about its outlook on November 9 is the company's final public word on expectations before players get the game.

## When is the Take-Two earnings call?

Take-Two announced the date on **October 13, 2026**. The press release with its results comes out after the US market closes on November 9, and the conference call follows at **4:30pm Eastern**. Here's what that is in other time zones:

| Location | Call starts |
|---|---|
| New York (ET) | 4:30pm, Monday, November 9 |
| Los Angeles (PT) | 1:30pm, Monday, November 9 |
| UTC | 21:30, Monday, November 9 |
| London (GMT) | 9:30pm, Monday, November 9 |

If you've seen a different time, go with Take-Two's own announcement. Marketbeat and other earnings calendars list the same 4:30pm ET slot.

Take-Two hasn't said exactly when the release and slides will post, so check take2games.com/ir after the market close.

## How to listen to the call

The webcast is **listen-only**, so you won't be able to ask anything, but you can hear every analyst question and every answer. Your options:

- **Webcast:** live on Take-Two's investor relations site, take2games.com/ir
- **Replay:** posted on the same site after the call
- **Phone:** dial (833) 461-5787 and enter Meeting ID 112-490-011

Expect a press release and a slide presentation alongside the call. We couldn't confirm that Take-Two will publish a separate shareholder letter, so don't wait for one.

## What Take-Two has already said about GTA 6

The best guide to November 9 is what happened at the last call. Take-Two reported its first-quarter results in early August, and the headline was steady rather than spectacular: net bookings of **$1.39 billion**, down 3% from $1.42 billion a year earlier, though slightly above the company's own guidance. The quarter also included a **$43.4 million impairment** tied to dropping an unannounced game from a third-party developer, according to Yahoo Finance.

The bigger news was that Take-Two held its full-year forecast. CEO Strauss Zelnick pointed to "excitement around the November 19th launch of Grand Theft Auto VI" and said the company was "reiterating our Fiscal 2027 Net Bookings outlook of $8.0 to $8.2 billion."

GamesBeat and Seeking Alpha report that the outlook works out to roughly **20% growth** over the previous year, driven mainly by GTA 6, with an expected split of 37% Rockstar, 34% Zynga and 29% 2K. GamesBeat also reported that management spoke of a "high degree of confidence around the November 19th release" on that call.

Our read: Take-Two told investors in August that the date was solid and the money forecast was unchanged. November 9 is where it either repeats that message or adjusts it.

## Why this quarter's numbers don't include GTA 6 sales

Here's the detail that trips people up. The quarter Take-Two is reporting **ended on September 30, 2026**. GTA 6 doesn't launch until November 19, which falls in the following quarter.

So the November 9 results won't contain a single launch-day sale. Analysts expect earnings of about **$0.97 per share on roughly $1.61 billion in revenue**, according to Marketbeat, against $1.04 per share a year earlier. Those consensus numbers can still move before the call.

The first GTA 6 sales should show up in the following quarter's report, expected early in 2027. That's why the forward-looking parts of this call, the guidance and the commentary, matter more to GTA fans than the quarter itself.

## What analysts are likely to ask

Analysts get a Q&A section at the end of every call, and some questions this close to launch are close to inevitable. These are the topics most likely to come up, and what we already know about each.

### Will the full-year forecast change?

This is the number investors care about most. Take-Two can **reaffirm, raise or narrow** its $8.0 to $8.2 billion forecast. Which one it chooses is unknown, and so is whether it gives a separate outlook for the October to December quarter that includes launch.

A raise would suggest Take-Two sees demand running ahead of plan. A straight reaffirmation would be in keeping with the cautious tone from August. A cut, 10 days before launch, would be the surprise.

### How are pre-orders going?

Expect the question. Don't expect a number. We haven't found any GTA 6 pre-order figures published by Take-Two, and Seeking Alpha's summary of the August call reported that management spoke of **"unprecedented preorder levels"** while warning that pre-orders may not fully reflect launch sales. We couldn't check that wording against a transcript, so treat it as Seeking Alpha's account rather than a confirmed Take-Two quote.

<Shot id="ultimate-edition-box" />

Pre-orders are open at **$79.99 for the Standard Edition** and **$99.99 for the Ultimate Edition** in the US. If you want the estimates that are circulating, our [GTA 6 pre-orders and sales estimates](/gta-6-pre-orders-sales-numbers/) article separates analyst guesses from what Take-Two has actually said, and our [editions and price guide](/gta-6-editions-price/) covers what each version includes.

### When does GTA Online arrive?

This is where the most interesting outside analysis sits. **Bank of America** analyst Omar Dessouky rates Take-Two a Buy with a **$330 price target**, and GameSpot reports the bank expects a new GTA Online, which it calls GTA Online 2.0, could launch in **January to March 2027**. The bank says the stock "remains cheap." One secondary outlet, Tech-Insider, described the $330 target as a cut, which the other coverage doesn't mention.

Proactive Investors went into the bank's model in more detail:

- It expects stronger evidence of GTA Online spending from the first quarter of 2027.
- Its bull case puts GTA Online net revenue at about **$4.3 billion in fiscal 2029**, against a base case of $2.6 billion.
- It says GTA Online could make up **40% to 60% of Take-Two's earnings** by fiscal 2029.
- It argues the market is underestimating this because of fears that earnings fall in fiscal 2029.

CNBC also listed Take-Two among Bank of America's stock picks heading into earnings season on October 31.

None of this is Take-Two guidance. It's a bank's forecast. But the timing is notable: Take-Two's fiscal year runs to the end of March 2027, so a January to March launch would fall inside the same fiscal year as GTA 6. If an analyst asks about it on November 9, the answer could hint at whether online spending is built into the current forecast.

There's precedent for a gap. GameSpot points out that both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 launched without online multiplayer, and that Rockstar is describing GTA 6 as a single-player game. Our [GTA 6 Online guide](/gta-6-online/) tracks what's confirmed.

### What about PC?

GTA 6 launches on **PS5 and Xbox Series X|S** only, no PC version has been announced, and none of the sources we reviewed for this call mention one. An analyst may still ask about future platforms; our [GTA 6 PC release date guide](/gta-6-pc-release-date/) follows the reporting.

## What Take-Two probably won't announce

It helps to be clear about what an earnings call is. It's a company explaining its finances to investors. Game announcements, trailers and release-day details come from Rockstar on its own channels. Every GTA 6 trailer, including the [launch trailer](/gta-6-launch-trailer/) on October 15, has arrived as a Rockstar release.

Beebom has suggested the November 9 call "could bring" a GTA 6 story trailer. Take-Two hasn't announced anything of the sort, and we'd treat it as speculation until Rockstar says otherwise.

<Shot id="launch-trailer-art" caption="Official GTA 6 key art of Jason and Lucia. Trailers and artwork come from Rockstar's own channels, not Take-Two's investor calls." />

| Topic | Likely on November 9? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Full-year guidance update | Very likely | It's standard on every earnings call |
| GTA 6 launch date reaffirmed | Likely | Take-Two repeated November 19 in August |
| General comments on demand | Likely | Management spoke of strong pre-orders in August, per Seeking Alpha |
| Exact pre-order numbers | Unlikely | We haven't found any published by Take-Two so far |
| GTA Online release date | Unlikely | Only Bank of America's estimate exists |
| PC announcement | Unlikely | No PC version has been announced |
| New trailer | Speculation | Trailers come from Rockstar, not investor calls |

One more thing to keep in perspective: the stock price. GameSpot noted that Take-Two's share price "continues to drop" around the time of the Bank of America note. Share moves after the call reflect investor expectations, not the quality of the game, so they tell you little about whether GTA 6 is any good. For that, reviews matter more; our [GTA 6 review embargo explainer](/gta-6-review-embargo/) covers when those are expected.

## What happens after November 9

The call is the first of three dates in quick succession:

| Date | What happens |
|---|---|
| November 9, 2026 | Take-Two Q2 results after the close, call at 4:30pm ET |
| November 10, 2026 | Digital preload starts |
| November 19, 2026 | GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X\|S |
| January to March 2027 | Bank of America's estimate for a new GTA Online (not confirmed) |

For the practical side of launch week, our [GTA 6 preload guide](/gta-6-preload/) covers download timing and our [release time guide](/gta-6-release-time/) has expected unlock times by country. We'll update this page with what Take-Two actually says once the call is over.

## The short version

Take-Two reports second-quarter results after the market close on **Monday, November 9, 2026**, with a call at **4:30pm ET (1:30pm PT)** and a live webcast at take2games.com/ir. The quarter ended September 30, so it contains no GTA 6 sales. Watch for whether Take-Two keeps its **$8.0 to $8.2 billion** full-year forecast, how it talks about pre-orders and whether it hints at GTA Online timing, which Bank of America estimates for **early 2027**. Don't expect pre-order numbers, a PC date or a trailer: those would be surprises, not the plan. GTA 6 launches **November 19, 2026**, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

## Frequently asked questions

### When is Take-Two's next earnings call?

Take-Two reports its second-quarter fiscal 2027 results after the market closes on Monday, November 9, 2026. The conference call starts at 4:30pm ET, which is 1:30pm PT and 21:30 UTC.

### How can I listen to the Take-Two earnings call?

Take-Two runs a live, listen-only webcast on its investor relations site, take2games.com/ir, with a replay afterward. There's also a phone dial-in: (833) 461-5787, Meeting ID 112-490-011.

### Will Take-Two show a new GTA 6 trailer on November 9?

Nothing suggests it. Beebom has floated the idea, but Take-Two hasn't announced a trailer, and earnings calls are aimed at investors rather than used to premiere game footage. Treat any trailer talk as speculation.

### Will Take-Two reveal GTA 6 pre-order numbers?

Probably not. We haven't found any published GTA 6 pre-order figures from Take-Two. Seeking Alpha's recap of the August call said management described pre-orders as unprecedented, but that isn't a sales number and we couldn't check it against a transcript.

### When does GTA 6 Online come out?

Rockstar hasn't announced a date. Bank of America analysts estimate a new GTA Online could arrive in January to March 2027, according to GameSpot, but that's an analyst forecast, not a confirmation.

### Does the November 9 call change the GTA 6 release date?

There's no sign of that. Take-Two reiterated November 19, 2026 at its last earnings report in August, and the launch is 10 days after the call, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
